For years, 'where can we get lunch in Dunmore East?' had a complicated answer involving the season, the day, and a phone call. As of July 2026 the answer is one line: The Spinnaker, on the harbour, every day from 1pm to 4pm — a full new lunch menu, cooked in the village.

Toasted sandwiches €6.95–€7.95, six hot paninis €9.50–€10.95, wraps €9.95, homemade soup €7, the famous seafood chowder €13.50, and open sandwiches on homemade brown bread — smoked salmon €12, fresh Dunmore East crab €16. Pick by situation

Family off the beach: toasties and paninis keep it under €10 a head, and children are welcome — the deck works when the sun's out.

Visitors you want to impress: chowder to start, crab on brown bread after. Both taste like the harbour they came from.
